If your child has symptoms of acute respiratory disease (e.g., fever and cough), he/she may be tested for RSV and influenza.  Since these symptoms overlap with those of COVID-19 (coronavirus disease 2019), epidemiologic factors will be considered before testing for the novel coronavirus.  Those with mild illness and no underlying medical conditions are encouraged to stay home and contact us for guidance about clinical management.  We are providing telemedicine in an attempt to limit the spread of the novel coronavirus while still providing care to our patients.  For more information about COVID-19, please visit the CDC website.
