Gissette Perez, RMA, has been a registered medical assistant for seven years. “Gigi” was born in the Dominican Republic and lives in Katy with her husband, four children, and beagle. She became interested in the medical field as she grew up with her father, a pharmacist. She enjoys seeing children grow from infancy to young adulthood.
Maira Velasquez, MA, was born and raised in Houston, and she joined the practice in July 2018. She believes that one of the most rewarding parts of being a medical assistant in pediatrics is the happiness young patients give her. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with family and friends in outdoor activities.
Megha Rajput is a senior at the University of Houston majoring in biology. She attended Seven Lakes High School. Megha is originally from Michigan but has been in Houston for the past several years. She has done cancer and embryology research at MD Anderson and Texas Children’s Hospital. She has worked at the practice since 2017 and hopes to go to medical school to pursue a career in medicine. Her hobbies include swimming and photography.
